Replenish My Skin: Night-time Repair Serum
Squalane Oil
Derived from olives, squalane works deeply into the skin yet doesn’t clog pores as it is a natural component of your skin’s sebum. It has exceptional moisture locking and anti-aging properties working effectively to soothe and hydrate all skin types.
Rosehip Oil
A source of potent antioxidants that can reduce the visible signs of aging by combating free radical damage. Rosehip oil Contains essential fatty acids to hydrate and feed the skin vital nutrients promoting a radiant and healthy-looking complexion.
Marine Collagen
Marine collagen is a Type I collagen, which is an essential protein providing elasticity to the skin resulting in a healthier and more youthful appearance. However, applying it to the skin is unlikely to replenish collagen lost through the aging process which is why we have other ingredients in the serum to help promote collagen production. However, collagen is a fantastic hydrator and works in this serum to soften the visible signs of aging.
Copper Peptide
Copper peptide helps to replenish skin by promoting the production of collagen and elastin and acts as an antioxidant. It is a centuries old ingredient for improving skin elasticity and firmness while minimising wrinkles, and photo-damage.
Hyaluronic Acid
An intense skin hydrator, holding on to moisture within the cells so that your skin becomes optimally hydrated with a healthy plumpness that can visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Retinol (vitamin A)
Retinol is a key ingredient to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating cellular turnover which increases collagen and elastin production giving a smoother more supple appearance.
Aloe Vera Gel
This natural soothing gel absorbs quickly to moisturise, soften & smooth skin. Aloe vera helps stimulate cell rejuvenation by promoting the production of new collagen and preventing the breakdown of existing collagen.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that neutralises damaging free radicals caused by environmental factors such as UV exposure. Vitamin C is acidic and naturally stimulates cell renewal to keep your skin looking radiant.
Cucumber Extract
Cucumber extract is a superfood for skin, possessing antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin C and a source of retinol it can help to prevent environmental damage and tackle signs of aging. It is also a source of silica, which, as a precursor to collagen, can help fight wrinkles.
Liquorice Extract
This plant extract has fantastic skin-soothing properties owing to one of active components, glabridin which is a potent antioxidant and skin-soothing ingredient that can help soothe inflamed skin and battle UV damage such as skin pigmentation.
Replenish My Skin: Food Supplement Capsules
Collagen and CoQ10
Collagen and CoQ10 naturally occur in the body yet their production declines with age making dietary intake more important particularly if you are seeking a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that is known to help stimulate collagen production.
Pine Bark Extract
Pine bark extract is thought to slow down the natural aging process by activating and recycling antioxidants such as vitamin C, therefore becomes more effective in increasing collagen production and reducing the appearance of wrinkles
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is an essential nutrient which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of healthy cell membranes and may help slow down the rate of collagen breakdown.
Ingredients
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Vitamin B3, Vitamin B9 (folic acid), Vitamin B12, vitamin C, Vitamin E, Marine Collagen (Fish), Genistein (Soy), gelatin
For allergens, please see ingredients in bold.
Why these ingredients are used?
Vitamin B2
This vitamin is known as riboflavin which is a key component in the maintenance and repair of skin cells and tissue, it can help heal wounds and reduce skin inflammation so great for conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. Vitamin B2 helps to maintain collagen levels, which are known to decrease during the menopause and so helping to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Vitamin B3
Vitamin B3 aka Niacin when digested is a multitasking vitamin that boosts cellular energy and regulates a cellular enzyme that has an important role in DNA repair and keeps the signaling of inflammation in check. Therefore, Vitamin B3 can help balance the effects of many skin conditions particularly those related to inflammation such as acne, rosacea and dermatitis.
Vitamins B9 and B12
Vitamin B9 generally known as folic acid and Vitamin B12 are not produced by the body and need to be consumed via food sources; leafy green vegetables are a great source.
The body becomes less effective at absorbing these vitamins particularly, vitamin B12 as we age which in relation to the skin can lead to breakouts of acne, eczema and psoriasis. To account for the body being less effective at absorbing these vitamins it is a good idea to increase the consumption of food sources that contain them, such as supplementing a healthy diet with a nutrient capsule so that there are more opportunities for the body to encounter and absorb the vitamins.
Both vitamin B9 and B12 have a central role in your body’s cellular metabolism. They support the process of methylation which then allows your body to complete its processes such as cell replication, DNA synthesis and repair. The repair of cellular DNA in the skin that may have been damaged over time by UV light or pollutants can help reduce the signs of aging by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, improving skin elasticity, and decreasing roughness.
Vitamin A
Dietary Vitamin A can help prevent cell damage and skin aging by protecting the skin from adverse environmental factors like pollution and UV radiation. Vitamin A also improves the moisture content and elasticity of the skin by increasing collagen production leading to a more youthful appearance.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an important antioxidant shown to have photoprotective properties meaning the antioxidant activity protects against UV induced (usually sun exposure) damage caused by free radicals.
As a result of vitamin C’s ability to as a reducing agent and to scavenge free radicals it prevents excessive cell damage and oxidative stress; coupled with its involvement in the production of collagen it leads to vitamin C being able to decrease the appearance of wrinkles and age-related skin dryness to keep skin smooth and supple.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It is most effective when coupled with the consumption of vitamin C to help scavenge free radicals and keep the skin safe from sun damage which is a main cause of the appearance of wrinkles.
Collagen
Collagen naturally occurs in the body yet its production declines with age making dietary intake more important particularly if you are seeking a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Zinc
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of healthy cell membranes and its barrier function; it is required for the healthy division and growth of the main skin cells called epidermal keratinocytes and may help slow down the rate of collagen breakdown.
Soya Bean Extract 40% Genistein (Glycine max)
Genistein is a phytoestrogen derived from soy and acts to rebalance the effects of lowered estrogenic production during the menopause. As estrogen receptors are present in skin cells the decline of estrogen throughout perimenopause has a profound effect on the skin, in particular its collagen content, dermal thickness and elasticity. By supplementing with genistein which is a plant-based estrogen that binds to estrogen receptors it may improve changes to the skin associated with lowered estrogen levels.

Do I need to use both the food suppplement and night-time serum to see results?
The investment comes from using both REMY'S night-time serum and REMY'S food supplement because each range is scientifically formulated to provide the optimum nutrients for your life stage from the inside and out and will help replenish or rebalance any nutrient deficiencies that your skin requires to be healthy and radiant. However, they can be used individually and great results can be achieved that way but it would be inside or our rather than both.
How soon will I see results?
REMY provides honest skincare products and so we do not sell ourselves as giving "dramatically instant results" rather we aim for the investment return of healthy, radiant skin from the inside and out. REMY's night-time serums will provide a quicker visible result than our food supplements as the serum is applied directly to the skin surface that everyone sees and because our night-time serums are formulated using a base that is quickly absorbed into the epidermis, they can deliver key nutrients to soothe, repair and rebalance your skin tissue giving improved results faster than our food supplement.
REMY's food supplements take a while longer to visibly see the difference as they have to be ingested and transported in the bloodstream to the dermis, that is the inner skin cells. Here your inner skin cells are provided with the optimum nutrition so they have greater opportunity to develop into healthy, radiant skin cells when they emerge to the outside which takes some time, however, you don't have to wait too long for results because the inner skin cells provide a feeder layer to the uppermost skin cells the epithelial skin lyaer, so by providing the optimum nutrients to the inner cells you are also providing optimum nutrients to the outside skin cells.
Do REMY products have fragrance?
All our products are fragrance free as we realise some people have sensitivities to fragrances and also, we don't want our products to overpower your favourite perfume.
